WELCOME TO THE TONBRIDGE LIONS OPEN CHARITY HORSE SHOW

On behalf of the President and Members of Tonbridge Lions Club we would like to welcome you to our Charity Horse Show.

With your help we have been raising money via the Horse Show for local charities for the last sixteen years and to date we have raised over 78,000. This year the proceeds will be shared between LIBRA (‘Lions International Blood Research Appeal’ (this charity raises funds for equipment vital for developing cell therapies at the Department of Haematological Medicine at King’s College Hospital. The unit is a major centre for bone marrow transplantation, diabetes therapy and liver disease and has the most extensive liver transplantation programme in Europe), Headway and other local charities supported by Tonbridge Lions.

Our aim, as always, is to provide an event which is enjoyed by participants and spectators alike whilst raising money for local charities. We dedicate a Ring for the very young and those who are entering Horse Shows for the first time and hope to see them in later years participating in other Rings. We provide parking services to help you park safely and good food prepared by Tonbridge Lions.

All the proceeds of the raffle will once again be given to Riding for the Disabled (Leybourne Grange) and we would like to thank all the donors of prizes especially Hpower, organisers of the Olympia Horse of the Year show for their donation of 4 tickets.

On behalf of this year’s charities we would like to thank you for your support and have a good day.

Bob Taylor: Tonbridge Lions Horse Show Chairman
